Trinbago Knight Riders
The 2021 CPL kicks off with the competition’s most powerful side in action. The Shahrukh Khan-owned franchise had a flawless campaign last year, winning every single one of their dozen games – most by bulldozing through their opponents.
Their roster once again is crazy good, with the likes of captain Kieron Pollard, Darren Bravo, Sunil Narine, Jayden Seales and Tim Seifert all on their books.
They have also lost a few – most notably Dwayne Bravo and Sandeep Lamichhane but they have also gained Colin Munro and Yasir Shah.
Guyana Amazon Warriors
Guyana Amazon Warriors are arguably the unluckiest team in CPL history, as they have no titles to show despite making the five finals.
They can be lauded for their consistency though as they almost always make the final four.
Guyana’s main men will be their overseas allrounders Shoaib Malik and Mohammad Hafeez, both of whom have a vast amount of experience under their belt and if they click, their side can finally get off the mark as far as titles are concerned.
Apart from the Pakistani duo, Nicholas Pooran and Shimron Hetmeyer are also a part of Guyana’s squad, which puts them almost as talented a team as KKR.
