If you are interested in learning about this game up close, this article is the right place to start.

What is Mini Flush?

Mini flush is an Indian casino card game like Teen Patti and Andar Bahar. It is simply a flush game played against the dealer.

A deck of 52 cards is in use in the game, in which the dealer will deal 3 cards face-down to the players, including himself.
There are card rankings in the game that decide who’s the winning player. The highest is three aces, and the lowest comes down to 5-3-2.

Players need to place an Ante bet to enter the game. To see the dealer’s hand, you need to raise the Ante twice the amount. Players have the option to stay out of the bet and therefore lose the Ante before the dealer opens his hand.

How to Play Mini Flush?

In Mini flush, the players play against the dealer.
The dealer will deal 3 cards to all the players with face down, including himself. A deck of 52 cards is used in the game, and rankings and strategies remain the same as poker.

To start the game, players have to place a compulsory Ante bet. The amount is decided unanimously among the players. Before dealing with the card, players need to decide whether they want to bet on high and low side-bets.

Now players can check their cards and decide whether to bet or fold. The bet will be twice the initial Ante, and folding means losing the original Ante. The objective of the game is to bet that your hand is better than the dealer.

What Are High and Low Side Bets?

High and low side bets are the most crucial part of the mini flush. If you decide to wager on high or low, you must bet 2X the initial Ante. To win a high side bet, you need to create a pair or higher, and on the low side, you must have a 10 or lower high card, which is not flush or straight flush.

If you bet on the high side, you have to also bet on Ante and high bet winning. However, if you are betting low side bet, you can fold and still win the low side bet.

A Sample Hand of Mini Flush

Let’s take an example of a mini flush hand to get a better understanding of the game-:

  • Let’s start the mini flush table with ₹10 Ante.
  • All the players place their Ante at ₹10 with a high side bet of ₹15. Let’s avoid the low side bet as of now.
  • The dealer now deals the card and gives each player three cards face down. He also deals 3 cards to himself.
  • You deal with your card and see that you have K-K-2. Now you know that irrespective of what the dealer has, you will be getting paid out.
  • To start the game, you need to cash in on a high side bet. For those, you bet twice the original Ante, i.e., ₹10
  • The dealer flips Ace-Ace-5.
  • Now your K-K-2 loses with Ace-Ace-5, and you lose the initial ₹5 Ante and your ₹10 bet.
  • However, you bet on the high side and get Kings, check the paytable, and push on the pair, thereby not losing the ₹10 high side bet.
  • The winner will be paid for this hand, and a new hand will begin.

Playing mini flush is exciting and straightforward. You just need to understand the betting process and understand how you can make the best of your hand.
