Their bowlers were all over the place when they were put to bowl first. The debutant Nasum Ahmed was the pick of the bowlers as he picked up two of the three wickets for just 30 runs in four overs. The other debutant for Bangladesh Shoriful Islam went for plenty without picking up a wicket. Mahedi Hasan managed to pick up the other wicket. They lost wickets at regular intervals while chasing a massive target of 211 as they were 59/6 under eight overs. Afif Hossain was the highest scorer for Bangladesh with 45 runs off 33 balls. Even the bowling all rounder Mohammed Saifuddin chipped in with 34 runs with the bat. After the first T20I, Bangladesh could make some changes in their bowling department.
