But they bounced back really well as their bowlers managed to restrict Bangladesh for just 213 and went on to win the match by 17 runs.

Sri Lanka on the other hand have just won one match in their last ten matches, that too was against West Indies in the second T20I in this tour. After losing the T20I series, Sri Lanka were clean swept in the ODI series. Just before the West Indies tour, Sri Lanka played two test series against England and South Africa. They were outplayed by England in the first test as they bowled out Sri Lanka for just 135 runs and scored over 400 runs before a fightback from Sri Lanka as they scored nearly 400 runs in the second innings. England managed to chase the target of 74 with seven wickets in hand. The second test had the same story but Sri Lanka scored nearly 400 runs in the first innings and had a slight 37 runs lead at the end of the first innings. But they were bowled out for just 126 runs and England chases the target of 164 runs with four wickets in hand.

Despite being underdogs in the series against Bangladesh, West Indies were exceptional when it came to chasing a big total or defending a small target. Sri Lanka will be looking to turn tables after losing both the series in this tour.
