Gujarat Titans have taken to the IPL like a duck to water, winning both of their opening two fixtures.
Their first win was against fellow newbies Lucknow Super Giants and the second one came at the expense of uber experienced Delhi Capitals.
Across the first two games, most of their batters have found runs, except for Vijay Shankar, who struggled on both his outings.
On the bowlin front, Lockie Ferguson has been excellent, claiming a four-for once and conceding just 24 in the other game.
Tipped by many to be a major force in this year’s IPL, Punjab Kings have two wins bookending a defeat after their first three games.
The loss to Kolkata Knight Riders aside, Punjab Kings have been impressive, beating top sides such as Royal Challengers Bangalore and more recently Chennai Super Kings.
In their last game, a win over CSK, their expensive English import Liam Livingstone finally paid off, smashing a 32-ball 60 to power his side to 180 for 8.
He then chipped in with two wickets as well as the Kings thrashed the defending champions by 54 runs.
