Mohammad Mithun then finished off the innings with a quickfire 73 runs off just 59 balls. Bangladesh started off really well with the ball as they pushed New Zealand onto the backfoot by dismissing three wickets for just 53 runs. But they couldn’t break the Conway and Latham partnership quickly. Despite keeping it close, Bangladesh ended on the losing side with just ten balls remaining. Tamim Iqbal has been in decent touch with the bat as he is the team’s leading run-scorer with 91 runs. Their bowling department hasn’t been up to the mark in this series. Mahedi Hasan is the team’s leading wicket-taker with just two wickets to his name.
