After a timid batting performance against New Zealand, India women managed to turn things around with a fantastic batting performance.
Opener Smriti Mandhana and Harmanpreet Kaur notched up a splendid centuries to help India post a score of 317 runs in their allotted 50 overs.
The bowlers put in an excellent performance to dismiss West Indies women for just 162 runs in 40.3 overs.
For India women, off-spinner Sneha Rana was the standout bowler on display with figures of 3 for 22 in her nine overs. Pacer Meghna Singh also put in an excellent bowling performance with the new-ball and claimed 2 for 27 in his six overs.
