The 17^th fixture of the Big Bash League 2021-22 seasons sees Melbourne Renegades take on Perth Scorchers at Docklands Stadium, Melbourne on December 22 (Wednesday).

Melbourne Renegades once again dwell at the bottom of the BBL points table, thanks (or no thanks) to their single victory in three outings. Mind you, this is the side that has finished last the last two campaigns.
